All employees who will be engaged in handling vegetables must wash their hands with soap & sanitised solution and dry their hands with single use paper towels:
- before entering the factory,
- immediately after using the toilet,
- after touching the nose or mouth,
- after handling contaminated material such as boxes, tools etc; and
- whenever necessary to avoid contaminating foods.
The wearing of gloves does not exempt a person from having to thoroughly wash their hands as required above.
