Chemicals
Only use chemicals if you have been trained in their use and are authorised to do so.
Anyone handling chemicals must comply with the instructions on the label and the Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
SDS’s are located in the chemical room, lunchroom, and in the maintenance workshop.
If you cannot understand the label or the SDS, or have difficulty reading them, ask for help before continuing.
When you have finished your task, the equipment is to be washed down and the chemicals returned to the appropriate chemical storage area. Always have clean water available for washing down and clean clothes when using chemicals. Protective eyewear (Safety Glasses / Face Shield) must be always worn when handling chemicals.
