All employees who will be engaged in handling vegetables must wash their hands with soap & sanitised solution and dry their hands with single use paper towels:

  • before entering the factory,
  • immediately after using the toilet,
  • after touching the nose or mouth,
  • after handling contaminated material such as boxes, tools etc; and
  • whenever necessary to avoid contaminating foods.

The wearing of gloves does not exempt a person from having to thoroughly wash their hands as required above.
